Save time in the morning with this delicious overnight chia pudding for a great breakfast idea or have as a delicious after dinner dessert. Add fresh berries and seasonal fruit for colour and taste.
Serves 2
Preparation time: 5 mins (plus overnight in the refrigerator)
Ingredients
80 g (½ cup) chia seeds
375 ml light almond milk (or any milk of your choosing)
1 tablespoons of natural honey or maple syrup.
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
80 gm fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
Method
- In a medium bowl place chia seeds then pour over milk and honey and stir through.
- Add vanilla extract and stir until combined. Cover and place in the fridge overnight.
- Add fresh berries to the bottom of the jar then layer with chia pudding. Top with more fresh berries .
