Teen Expert Eats Workshop

We know that kids love takeaway food.  We also know that food choices have a direct impact on our mental health and wellbeing.  In this fun, interactive course we will teach participants how to create some of their takeaway favourites and make them a whole lot healthier!

  • While we cook, we will discuss how food can make a positive difference and how food literacy can empower teens to create their own positive mental health and wellbeing.
  • Culinary nutrition fundamentals – how to cook, prepare meals safely
  • Being in control of your mood – establishing your own positive eating environment
  • Why, how you eat, is also as important as what you eat.
  • The good, the bad and the ugly – get to know what is really in the food you love
